I am looking for any information on:
Alexandra Karoline Marie Jensen
Born 1864 - possibly in Randers- Church - I believe could be Sct. Mortens
Parents:  Jens Jensen Hevring and Sara Marie Hesselberg


1890 Census in Randers - SCt. MOrtens had her living with her parents - however I can not find anything - either marriage or a death.

I believe that this is Alexandra in the 1901 census. It would appear that she married a butcher named August Vilhelm Opitz and resettled in Frederikshavn.

There is a physical address: Sæbyvej, Matr. 430 og 436, Frederikshavn.

You find images of the original census at AO, Folketællinger, FT-1901, Købstad, Frederikshavn, Gade: Sæbyvej, opslag 98-100.

There's an error in the transcription at ddd.dda.dk. According to the 1901 census, butcher August Wilhelm Opitz was born in Schlesien, Tyskland, i.e. Silesia, Germany (nowadays almost all of that region is in Poland). Doesn't make it any easier to trace him, though.

He owns the building and lives with his wife and two assistants at the ground floor, where he has his shop as well.

Did you find Alexandra's marriage? Maybe additional info about A. W. Opitz could be found in the marriage record.

In the 1906 census August Vilhelm Opatz no longer lives on the property. It belongs to a new butcher (opslag 134 and 135).
I think todays address of title no 430 is Søndergade 51A and title no 436 Søndergade 49.
According http://www.ois.dk the current buildings were built in 1927.

I found A.W. Opitz in the Danish Immigration Database http://ddd.dda.dk/immibas/htm/immibaslink.htm.

He obtained Danish citizenship/ became naturalized in Denmark 19 Apr. 1907. At that time he lived in Hobro (købstad) in Randers county. So that might be the place where to find him and Alexandra in the 1906 census.
