Place of marriage

It says "Taksigelseskirken, København".

You will find the marriage in KB Aldersro, København 1929-1947, ops. 68, nr. 14.

One can not always ges it, people may have connection to a certen church/or preast, in denmark, and make marriage arrangements - whereever they wich.

F.eks. a beautifull church - out in the country .... by the see ... where there grandparents lived, etc.

When I saw that it was Taksigelseskirken and I could't find any churchbooks from that church, well then I used Google and found the link which says that Taksigelseskirken also is or was called Aldersro

In looking through the København telephone directories I noticed that there were Smidts and Smidths.  I don't think they are related but I will check out the site.
