I am looking after Mette Marie Johansdatter born 27/3-1850 in Kalvehave Parish - and died 29/1-1932 in Hull, she was Cremated at Hull Municipial cementary - and was transported to Denmark - where she was placed at Kalvehave Cementary.

I Wonder Why she left to Britainia - and which of the kids coul have lived there?
She have 8 living children - those I don't have informationabt is:
Julius Ferdinand Petersen born  11/4-1871 in Stege, Præstø County
Johannes Marinus Petersen born 22/12-1872 in Bidsinge, Præstø County
Eleonora Mathilde Petersen born 27/6-1886 in Stege, Præstø County
Ida Juliane Petersen born 7/7-1888 in Stege, Præstø County
Axel Christian Richard Petersen born 11/12-1889 in Stege, Præstø County
Erna Julie Petersen born 29/6-1895 in stege Stege, Præstø County

If anyone could help finding out WHO of those cildren left Denmark and where the lived I would be happy.

Julius Ferdinand Petersen died in Stege 7 June 1900. Stege 1892-1910, ops 226.

Mette Marie's death was registered in Sculcoates which is in Yorkshire, and so is Hull.

Since you are a member you can ask Rikke to look Mette Marie up in English Census 1901 and 1911. Then you can see if any of her children were living with her. When she died her name was still Petersen, so didn't remarry. What happened to her husband Rasmus P.? Did he go England too?

I Know that Mette was in Stege 1916 - thats my last found. Her husbond died 1915 in Stege

Did she go to England after her husband's death? Perhaps she had a child living in England?

There is no Census after 1911 made available. Census 1921 will come in 2021.
