Thomsens of Slagelse

I am looking for relatives/descendants of Harald Viktor Thomsen. He was born in Slagelse in 1854. His wife was Methine Thomsen (born Andersen) born in Agerso Parish in 1850. There children were Christian Victor Thomsen born in Copenhagen 1876, Charles Marius Frederik Andrea Thomsen born in Slagelse 1880 18th April, Jenny Johanne Kathrine Thomsen born 29/5/1885 in Slagelse. My great-grand father Johann Christian was Harald's brother. Johann emigrated to Australia and settled in Brisbane Queensland. I am from Brisbane and would like to contact relatives of Harald. We are visiting Denmark this year.

In the posting from Bjarne, he referred to a homepage. Have you checked that page? (http://www.poul-herdis.dk)

After reading Bjarne's posting, I used the free telephone directory www.degulesider.dk and wrote Rosted Christensen in the first box. It seems, as if people with that last name are still living in Slots Bjergby! You will also in same directory find another of the Thomsen children mentioned, living in Sørbymagle.

I have found the Confirmation of Jenny Johanne Katrine Thomsen in Slagelse in 1899 (Skt. Mikkel 1892-1907 opslag 117 no. 26)

The entry in the church book says the following about her parents:

Fhv. Politibetjent Marskandiser Viktor Harald Thomsen og hustru Methine Andersen, Slagelse

That is:

Former police officer second-hand dealer Viktor Harald Thomsen and wife Methine Andersen, Slagelse

I have checked Jenny's birth and it's 29 May 1885 Skt. Mikkel Slagelse with the right parents. Opslag 307 1873-1886. A son - Georg Ejner Høyer - was/is a doctor in Copenhagen".

And this: "Found the confirmation of Christian Victor Thomsen on 6 Oct 1889 in Skt. Mikkel Slagelse, opslag 2".
