For several days I have been searching for Jens Jørgensen and Ane Niesdatter
What I have found so far is:
Jens Jørgensen...A blank.
Ane Nielsdatter....Bap. 1776...kalvehave, Bårse, Præsto...1748-1783... opslag 74 - 4th under 1776
I can't read the date...She died 23 Feb 1828 in Kalvehave...1814-1833. opslag 474 #6
I found three children:
Kirsten Jensdatter...22 May 1807 in Kalvehave...1805-1821...opslag 23...2nd down column 1
Niels Jensen...30 Sep 1812 in Kalvehave...opslag 54...Top record
Peder Jensen...30 Aug 1815 in Kalvehave 1814-1833...opslag 6...2nd down

Would someone please give me a hand at finding more about Jens Jørgensen and family.

I Cannot find the marriage of Jens Jørgensen and Ane in Kalvehave – nor can I find Her first husbond dead there until 1821 - and as You can se at the link unterneat he first died 1853

I find Ane's Father and Mother in 1787 – and i 1801 she is with her mother (Sidse Larsdatter) who is widowed

Jens Jørgensen dies in 1832 (AO: Kalvehave 1814-1833, opslag 445, # 19). He's said to be about 50 years old -
it seems that he's not born in Kalvehave, since there's no "exact" age in his death record. And birth parish is not
mentioned, as is the case for some of the other persons on the page (rightmost column).

Anne Marie born 1804 - lookup 97 - here is mentionend Birthe Jørgensdatter - she Could be a sister to Jens

Karen born 1810 - Lookup 43 - she dies before christening in Church

It could be good to se the real census at AO abt. jens Jørgensen at Masnedø

First a correction:

Opslag 40 in Vordingborg 1781-1814 (V): Taking a closer look, I think the date is 16 August for the banns. You see the month very faintly above the record.

Jens Jørgensen's sponsor in August 1800 must be his master, Christen Jensen, seen in the 1801 census.

I think the 1801 census for Vordingborg Landsogn, Masnedø, is correctly transcribed on ddd.dda.dk from AO, 1801, Landsogn, Vordingborg Landsogn, opslag 31. "Unmarried" is a mistake in the original census.

On the other hand, there's a mistake in the transcription of the 1801 census for Kalvehave, family # 75 (AO: 1801, Landsogn, Kalvehave, opslag 26). The original reads "Jens Jørgensen paa Masnedøe in Vordingborg Sogn". I'm sure the place name refers to Masnedø, but not quite sure how the end of the name is actually spelled. The reading "Mariendal" is definitely wrong.

Masnedø is a small island just south of Vordingborg, so the translation would be "Jens Jørgensen on Masnedøe in Vordingborg parish". Kalvehave and Vordingborg are neighbouring parishes.

Another correction:

Please forget about Birthe Jørgensdatter in the 1801 census for Kastrup, Præstø county. To my best belief, she's not the godmother of Ane Marie, b. 1804.

She was born 1780 in Kastrup parish (AO: Kastrup, Hammer, Præstø 1710-1788, opslag 170, left hand page, # 5), parents Jørgen Sørensen and wife Sidse Jensd. in Vindinge.

You find her older brother Jens, son of farmer Jørgen Sørensen in Vindinge, on opslag 152 in the same church book, right hand page, topmost entry. He was baptized Dom: 2 p: Epiph: (Jan 15) 1769. A perfect match for Jens Jørgensen in the 1801 census for Masnedø!

It seems that this Birthe has moved back to Kastrup by 1804 (maybe you could look for her children there). And it could be her that you see as a servant girl in the 1801 census for Masnedø, 22 years old. I took a close look at the original (FT-1801, Vordingborg landsogn, opslag 31), and I read Berthe in stead of Benthe. A cousin to one of my ancestors was also called alternately Birthe and Berthe at that very same time, and you often see different spellings of the same name in that period.

You might want to know that Jens Jørgensen's occupation was small holder, and that he lived in Kallehauge (Kallehave) Skov in Kallehave parish (info from the birth (except Jens) and confirmation records of his children and his and his wife's death records).

Birthe Jørgensdatter, b. 1780 in Vindinge, Kastrup parish, was married to Johan Jørgensen 1810 in Kastrup, Præstø county (AO: Kastrup, Hammer, Præstø 1787-1814, opslag 102, right hand page, # 2 from the bottom). Her sponsor was her father Jørgen Sørensen.

Their son Jørgen was born in 1810 (same church book, opslag 55, right hand page. # 2 from the bottom). No witnesses from Kalvehave at this baptism.

When Jens Jørgensen is Buried in 1832 - his age i mentioned as abt. 50 Years.
It seems lige there is a big difference between the birth in 1769 and a birth start 1780'es.
