Hej alle!

For nogle dage siden havde jeg et indlæg under navnet en bayer-slægt. Takket være de hjælpsomme sjæle, som hjalp er det lykkedes mig at spore min familie lidt længere tid tilbage, men nu stopper det, da min tiptiptipoldefar var født i Preussen. Er der nogle som ved, hvad jeg skal gøre, for jeg er helt på bar bund.  
Min tiptiptipoldefar hed Henrik (stavemåden skifter) Bayer gift med Anna Hansdatter. Han var kurvemager og hans ene søn (min tiptipoldefar) var født i 1823 i Hjels.
Eller er der nogle som kan finde andre informationer om ham?
Håber at nogle kan hjælpe mig.

I´m answering as my danish is not good enough.
Heinrich Beyer was ( acc. to the Hejls-churchbook ) at his death on 21.10.1858
in Hejls 69 years old.
His wife Anna Hansdatter ( father Hans Nielsen, mother Anna Maria Hansdatter )
was born 24.9.1795 and died 15.8.1840.
They had 7 children :
1. Abraham Ernst
2. Hans Hinrich
3. Carl
4. Johann Friedrich * 13.11.1823 Hejls oo 30.6.1848 Anne Christine Becksoft 31
    years old in Hejls
5. Anna Maria * 29.3.1829 Hejls
6. Niels * 27.5.1833 Hejls
Mette Marie * 19.6.1840 Hejls
You´ll have to look up the birthdays of the first three in the churchbook of Hejls
( arkivalieronline.dk ) yourself, as I could not get back in after I had left it.

Do you know where I can search for him in Germany?? I know he was from Pommern in Prussia and that he was a joiner when he arrived in Denmark

Hi Christian,
when Heinrich Beyer was engaged in Hejls on Nov.5 of 1818
the Engagement-Register says that he was from ........ in Pommern.
At that time he was a " snedker svend "

It looks like " Sovitz" or similar. If you find someone to tell you what the
name of te place was, we could go on from there.

The missing birthdays:

Abraham Ernst  :  15.7.1821 Hejls

Hans Hinrich ( Hendrik ) : 17.8.1821 Hejls

Carl Christian : 26.12.1826 Hejls

I´ll try to help you, if you can find the name of the place in Pommern.

I forgot to say, that I read the place as " Göritz "
Göritz was a place in Pommern, now Poland.
It belonged  to the parish ( sogn ) Malchow.
The LDS-people have the churchbooks of Malchow 1714 - 1826 :  FHL INTL
Film ( 896090 Item 1 ).

Hi Inger,
let Christian use danish, and if you don´t mind, accept me talking english.
I can " snakker " soenderjysk,  and understand enough danish to get by, but
my writing is not perfect.
Göritz today " Gorzyca ( Malechowo ) is a little bit south from " Rügenwalde
= Darlowo " north from " Nemitz = Niemica ".
If you call up Gorzyca with google you have the story.
If Christian ever gets hold of the churchbook of Malchow and needs help with reeding and/or translating he may certainly call me up.

I'm searching for Gorzyca in ZP but I can't find any churchbooks for the area... I'm supposed to look under Germany and not Poland?

Hi Christian,
the LDS -People have the film : Churchbook Malchow ( which was the parish ( sogn ) for Göritz= Gorcyca, 1714-1826.
FHL INTL Film 896090 Item 1
You can order te film through the LDS-Center nearest to you, pay a marginal fee and
wait some weeks. The film comes as microfiche. They have reading equipment plus
possibility to copy.
According to the numbers you have Heinrich Beyer was born between 1778 and 1780.
Look him up, copy the entry and we´ll go from there.
And a happy, prosperous and healthy New Year for you and your family.
And you may certainly write in danish !!
