He married Elizabeth Harper, daughter of Robert Harper and Elizabeth Ginness on 29 Sep 1876 in Alexandra, Otago, New Zealand (House of JamesSimmonds,).

She was born in 1823 in Dublin, Ireland. She died on 03 Mar 1890 in Bald Hill Flat,
Alexandra (Fruitlands), Otago, New Zealand.


He then married Mary Parcel, daughter of John Parcel and Elisabethe Wilhelmine
Catharina Hofmann on 23 Aug 1890 in Peter's house at Bald Hill Flat. She was born in 1860 in

When the lastname Grundtvig and the Niels Frederik Severin Grundvig is mentioned, the fam.name PAPE in (Denmark/Norway and Germany) also belongs to the story i mean.

Maby some one would like to verifi this ?

Also look at the city - HANSE-CITY FLENSBURG, where big Merchants were living (Merchants in the Vest Indies as well from Flensburg and the area around Flensburg.

The King and his thoughts about the MONETA, (Den Kongelige Mønt, and Møntmestrene) (metal) - PENNING - (lat.) =DENAR - GROSS - money throug the time from Efesos and Sardes in Asia - up til now. And so on.

Also look up for the danish Island between Denmark and Sveden = the pearl of the Baltic Sea = BORNHOLM in the  of course.

Thanks for the information and I have seen this before but I put it down to lazy publice servents or poor record keeping.

I'm not surprised that there is little feedback as I have been trying to firm up the link for over ten years.
I get little bits of information but not enough for a solid link.

He mayhave come via the USA but I'm not sure.

I'm off to Denmark in May for part of a holiday. Any suggestions on where I could look up some more information while I'm there?
