Hi Paul,

Presented in (or is there a better translation?? - perhaps "carried to the baptism" - I'm often in doubt)

Mange tak Lissa.  Believe it or not I am trying to help a Danish cousin trace his family.

That's good Paul, but could you please let me know, what the best translation would be for taking the child to church to be baptised?

The translation leaves open whether the prior baptism was simply announced, or confirmed by some ritual.  Follow up on emergency baptism was probably addressed in the Kirkeordinans of 1685.  But then variously followed in the centuries that followed.

Hej Lissa og Ralph,

Tak for din Hjælp.  Attached are both pages of the baptism.  Perhaps this will give you an idea of what the last entry means.

Med venlig hilsen
Paul
