Hello All,

Here is another record I need help with.

1719-1761 Kerteminde, Bjerge, Odense
opslag 114

The record is for the baptism of Sara Maria Hansdatter, looks like the date is the 16 of September.

Next would you mind taking a look and translating, what I beleive to be Sara Maria Hansdatter's death record it can be found 1719-1761 Kerteminde, Bjerge, Odense, opslag 139 its in the month of August of 1739.

Hi Mike,

First the baptism on 114.

the 16th dito (September) Hans Nielsen Rasch's little
Daughter baptized called Sara Maria carried
to the baptism by Borg-Schotz' girl (or maid) Anna
the custom officer's ("Tolderens") girl (maid) stood by. Sponsors (witnesses) Jens Biil, and
Claus Fischerman's ("Fiskers") girl Anna.

On opslag 139, there is another baptism, not a death! Since the girl gets the same name, the first Sara Maria must have died in the meantime, between 1739 and 1742.

It says,
August
the 26th Hans Nielsen Rasch and his wife Karen JacobsDatter had their little daughter baptized: Sara Maria
(and then the witnesses, not easily read).
