I research all information regarding:
Esther, Jørgine LUBLIN, born 04.24.1915 in Todbjerg, Denmark.
(marriage, children, death, etc.).

She is the daughter of:
Jules, Auguste, Louis, LUBLIN, born 20.8.1880 in Copenhagen DK, died on 05.08.1958 in Copenhagen DK.
and:
Emma, Christence, Louise, Charlote, PALLESEN MORK, born 10.11.1892 in Dronninglund, DK

Esther Jørgine Larsen was born 24 Apr. 1915 and baptized 8 Aug. 1915 in Todbjerg, Randers county.
(AO: Kirkebøger, Todbjerg, Øster Lisbjerg, Randers 1915-1927, opslag 57, No 10).

Parents: Worker August Larsen (in the army at the time), 23 y, and wife Christence Georgine Pallesen, née Mørk, 21 y.

Among the witnesses: housekeeper Emma Pallesen Mørk of Copenhagen (mother's sister).

There is no note in the church book, that she would have been adopted by Jules and Emma Lublin.

Esther Jørgine's mother Christence Georgine Pallesen Mørk was born 19 Oct. 1893  in Sandgyden, Sæby
(Sæby, Dronninglund, Hjørring 1892-1897, opslag 54, No 30).

In the 1921 census, Esther Jørgine is registered as foster daughter (with surname Larsen), in the 1925 census as daughter, and in the 1930 census as adopted daughter (1925 & 1930 with surname Lublin).

The Todbjerg church book found on ArkivalierOnline is the parish clerk's copy, so there is a slight chance that the adoption and change of surname might only registered in the vicar's copy, which is not seen registered yet at the Provincial Archives in Viborg.

I looked at the last pages in the church book on AO and found an adoption and a name change recorded there, but nothing about Ester Jørgine.

Date of birth of the mother varies between 1892 and 1893.
Did you find other children the couple, except Esther?

Hi Philippe,

Esther is the only child in the household of Jules and Emma Lublin in the censuses 1921, 1925, and 1930.

She was adopted by Jules and Emma 19 May 1921.

Her biological mother Christence Georgine Pallesen Mørk was born 19 Oct. 1893, her adoptive mother Emma Lovise Petrea Christence Pallesen Mørk was born 10 Nov. 1892. Birth place for the two sisters is Sæby parish, Dronninglund district, Hjørring county.

In 2010 I wasn't sure if Esther was adopted, because it's not registered in the church book on AO.
But this time Lis Holm found the proof in a protocol that wasn't available online in 2010.
