Hi Jozef,

You will find the birth of Christian Hildebrandt (on www.arkivalieronline.dk) in Adsbøl parish (Gråsten-Adsbøl) (1817-1853) - opslag 52 - born 17 (?) August 1822 to Hans Peter Hildebrandt and Catharina Dorothea b. Müller/Möller.

Perhaps you will find Hans Peter and Catharina Dorothea's marriage in same parish?

Hi Jozef,

You will find Hans Peter Hildebrandt's death in Gråsten parish (1850-1882) - opslag 110, No. 25 - he died 20 December 1850, and here you will find (in Danish) a transcript of the church book (from the old www.dis-danmark.dk): http://www.dis-danmark.dk/forum/read.php?7,541886,541886#msg-541886:

......
......
(The couple had 10 children - 4 sons and 6 daughters)

(You could use www.translate.google.com for translation).

The death record also gives his birth: 31 December 1794 - parents: P.N. Petersen Hildebrandt and Maria Christian Gregorius in/of Alnor.

For finding place names use this: www.krabsen.dk.

Hi,

I'll try to translate from the death record of Hans Peter Hildebrandt:

Hans Peter Hildebrandt, skipper in Alnor, born same place
on 31 December 1794, 56 years old (parents: P.N. Petersen
Hildebrandt and wife Marie Christina Gregorius of Alnor)
Leaves behind his wife Catharina Dorothea Möller and 10 children,
4 sons and 6 daughters, the oldest 29 years old
the youngest 8 years old. He was an active and hard-working
man and mainly because of his loyalty
to the King and his country he had to stay in prison for 9 weeks,
from that time the health of the once
strong man disappeared and after 12 weeks of illness,
his sufferings ended.
