Søren Peter RIX/Lægdsruller

Hej DIS Forum,
   I am searching for information about my wife's grandfather, Søren Peter Rix, who was born in Flensted, Låsby, Skanderborg on 15 September 1880.   He immigrated to the USA in October 1904.
   Family tradition says he was an officer in the Danish Army.   I doubt that he was an officer, because he came from a poor farming family and was still working as a farm laborer and living with his parents in 1901.  However, it is possible that he may have been drafted sometime after the 1901 Census.
   Is there an on-line data base for the Lægdsruller?   If not, is anyone on the list in a position to access the archives?
