Please help finding the marriage of Jens Mikkelsen(born 1772)  to Maren Thomasdatter(born~1765)

What I know about Jens Mikkelsen.

Jens Mikkelsen was christened 3 Dec 1772 in Elling, Hjorring, Denmark, the 5th of 10 children born to Mikkel Nielsen & Maren Jensdatter. (1758-1818 Elling, Horns, Hjorring parish register, Opslag 63 #9. )

In 1787 he is probably found in the Hjorring, Horns, Elling,Schieltveld,,,FT-1787 census as a tiensiste Dreng age 14, (or possibly in the Hjorring, Horns, Raabjerg, Heeden,,,129, FT1787 census as a tieniste Dreng, age 15.)

On 10 Feb 1793 he fathers a child out of wedlock, Jens Jensen or Pedersen, with Maren Pedersdatter, in Elling. (1758-1818 Elling, Horns, Hjorring parish register, Opslag 79 #5)

In 1801 he is found in the Hjorring, Horns, Elling, Heden,,,2,FT-1801 census with his parents Mikkel Nielsen & Maren Jensdatter, age 28, unmarried, a National soldat.

In 1817 a record is found in the 1814-1862 Lendum, Hjorring, Denmark parish register, Opslag 113, #5 of a daughter "Dorthe Jensdr of Norgaard, father Jens Mikelsen of Norgaard, age 14 ½ born 1802 Oct 5, vacc 1810 May 29" . No mother is listed. No record of a birth/christening is found. (This thanks to a query on DIS-DANMARK in 2012 by George Capton which I discovered on a Google search for Dorthe.)

On 19 Nov 1805, Jens Mikkelsen & Maren Thomasdatter have a child Thomas Christian, (1758-1818  Elling, Hjorring, Denmark parish register, Opslag 103, # 24)

On 3 Apr 1808, Jens Mikkelsen & Maren Thomasdatter have a child, Mariane, (1758-1818  Elling, Hjorring, Denmark parish register, Opslag 109, # 10)

On 12 Nov 1809, married father Jens Mikkelsen & unmarried mother Mette Jensdatter, a servant in the house have a child out of wedlock, Jens Christian, (1758-1818  Elling, Hjorring, Denmark parish register, Opslag 113 # 15)

On 9 Jul 1826, his first child, assuming with Maren Thomasdatter, Dorthe, marries Peder Jensen of Lendum. (1814-1862 Lendum, Hjorring, Denmark parish register, Opslag 132, #45)
Peder & Dorthe are found in the (Hjorring, Horns, Lendum, Grydsberg, et Huuus, 79, FT-1840)  census, both age 38)
In the 1845 census, they are both listed as being born Heri sognet (Lendum)
   However, in the 1850 census,
(Hjorring, Horns, Lendum, Grydeberg, ,et Huus, 27, FT-1850), Dorthe is listed as born in Kjobenhavn.
Also in the 1880 census, (Hjorring, Horns, Lendum,,Hus, 167, FT-1880), Dorthe is listed as a Enke(widow) age 77, born in Kobenhavn,  living with her daughter and husband,

In 1834 Jens is found in the Hjorring, Lendum, Lendum Bye,,Norgaard, 107, FT-1834 census, age 63, married to Maren Thomasdatter, age 69.

In 1840 Jens is found in Hjorring, Lendum, Lendum Bye,,Norgaard, 84, FT-1840 census, age 69, Enkemand (widower), and Aftægmand (Pensioner)

Jens dies 17 Jan 1843 in Lendum, Hjorring, Denmark, age 70. (1814-1862, Lendum, Horns, Hjorring, parish register, Opslag 199 #1)

PROBLEM:
As Jens was not married in the 1801 census of Elling, and a confirmation record is found in 1817 in Lendum for a child born in 1802, later indicated to have been born in Kopenhavn, and the fact that no marriage has been found in Elling or Lendum, it is quite possible that Jens, serving as a soldier, may have been stationed in Copenhagen after the 1801 census, met and married Maren Thomasdattter, and had a child before they returned to Lendum.

I have never done a search in the Copenhagen records, and it appears that there are many parishes which would have to be searched.
Can anyone tell me the best way to search through the Copenhagen parishes to find where a soldier may have married and had a child? Is there any way to narrow the search? Are military records available that would assist in this search?
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I would recommend you to start looking for him in Garnison and then in Holmens sogn.
