Hi Ole and Helmer...

Thank you both very much.
Your time and effort are certainly appreciated.

Is there a site where a novice like myself could learn of, and translate these Danish
Holidays that are used to determine the dates of the different events?

Thanks again.
Mvh,
Bill

Hi Bill

At this site
http://www.morchslaegt.dk/bauers/bauer.htm
you can see every century (århundrede)from 601-2200 PC.
Click the century and then the actual year and you see Danish and Latin names
of many days/holidays during the whole year.

And at this site
http://www.kkermit.dk/latinske%20ord.htm
are 'Latin words often used'.
With help from a Danish-English dictionary it will probably be a good help for you.

mvh Ole

Thank you Ole...
Something new and interesting to work on.
I have several records that need to be translated that I didn't want to bother other
people with these small details.
I'm really looking forward to giving it a try.
Thanks again.
Mvh, Bill
