I am fairly new at researching my grandfather and his family.  This forum seems to be over whelming, where do I begin.
I do have some information on my grandfather but I have run into a brick wall.
If someone can lead me in the right direction.  I am a member of ancestry.ca but it is difficult to search the Danish records.

In order to be able to help you, useful informations will be: Name of your relative(s), birth / baptized date and place, date of marriage and where and with whom.
Further informations about what you have done in tracing your relative(s) up to now and where you have been looking.

There are a number of wonderful Danish resources on line. The DDD ( http://ddd.dda.dk/ )is in the process of extracting the census records. It has an English version, but I find the Danish version works better. the Arkiver Online has the Danish census and churchrecords available to browse (http://www.sa.dk/ao/ ). The AO is in Danish, but try here http://www.slaegtogdata.dk/forum/index.php/topic,166.0.html for English instructions.

I have some information on my grandfather:
Hilbert George Pedersen
DOB: March 5, 1903
Place:  Tolne, Nordjylland
Baptism:  May 3, 1903
Tolne Parish, Horns, District, Hjorring County
Father:  Christian
Mother:  Mettine Andrea (maiden name unknown)
As far as I know he had two brothers and two sisters
He left Denmark Jan. 30, 1923 for Canada
I would like to find out his mother's maiden name and the names of his siblings.

It has been very frustrating for me as I don't understand Danish.
