Cannot open old message to reply

How can I open an old message to reply?  I can only reply to the last message posted and need to go back to earlier messages so I can reply to them.
The "help" button says to open the message and then reply, but does not say how to open the message.  Thank you for the assistance.

The only way you can reply is to reply to the last message posted.

Instead of using the "Svar" button use the "Citat" link by the message you want to reply to.

Thank you for the help.  It is sometimes days between checking the forum and I don't want someone to think I am ignoring their response.  I will send a reply that includes a thank you to all .
