Sorry for an off-topic post but I'm feeling nostalgic today:

Any old Danish military, seamen, etc. who served, docked, or worked at Narsarssuak Air Base, southern Greenland? (also known as "Bluie West One" and today as the Narsarsuaq Airport).    I was there 1956-57 with U. S. Air Force, my sole visit to a Danish territory.  The Danish Liaison Officer was Major Karl Kirkegaard (died 24 Sep 2008, age 88).

Hi Homer,

Nothing wrong with being nostalgic.  Thanks for sharing the memory.
