I am trying to help a fellow American with her genealogy.  Would someone please look at the 30 May 1858 marriage of Hans Hansen Hollænder and Cathrine Mathiesen in Asserballe, Als Sønder, Sønderborg, opslag 262 nr 4.  Can you tell me where Cathrine was born?

You are as addicted to genealogy as I am.  Yes those are the people I was looking for.  I have found all the church records.  The only name I couldn't make out was the name of Cathrine Christine Mathiesen bonr 10 Nov 1832 in Notmark, Als Sønder, Sønderborg, opslag 89 nr 12.  Can you make it out?

Hi Paul,

You will find her confirmation 1847 in Asserballe, image 206 (1843-1884). says the mother was Ane Marie (dead), so perhaps I misread the birth record, and it should read as the mother:
