I request a transcription and translation of the following records (what I think they are):
1.  Marriage record between Mads Hansen and Kirsten Hansdatter in 1739.  https://www.sa.dk/ao-soegesider/billedviser?epid=17116730#152775,25439462 first entry on left after block of text
2.  Baptism of Hans, son of Mads Jensen.  https://www.sa.dk/ao-soegesider/billedviser?epid=17116730#152775,25439448 second entry on left
3.  Is this an earlier son of Mads Jensen, also named Hans who presumably died young?  https://www.sa.dk/ao-soegesider/billedviser?epid=17116730#152775,25439447  top left

Thank you.

I'm replying here just to bump my message back up as I think it might have been missed.

1. I'll leave that to someone else.

2. [1741] Fest Visit: Maria döbt Mas Jensön Skreders Liden Sön
udi Kircherup kaldet Hans, Niels Hansöns
Kone ib. hold ham ofver Daaben Fad: Niels Villad,
sön Hans Olsön Niels Pedersön Niels Klochers
Kone Axel Erichsöns Kone alle af Kircherup

1741 July 2 Mads Jensen Skræder's little son in Kirkerup was baptized and called Hans.  Niels Hansen's wife of Kirkerup held him at the baptism.  Sponsors:  Niels Villadsen, Hans Olsen, Niels Pedersen, Niels Klocker's wife and Axel Eriksen's wife, all of Kirkerup.

Whether Skræder was a tilnavn or an occupation, I don't know.

3.  [1740] Dom: Sexagesima döbt Mas Jensöns liden Sön af Kircherup kal
det Hans Rasmus Pedersöns Kone af Kircherup bar barnet
fad: Niels Villadsön Niels Hansön Peder Hansön Hans
Nielsens Kone Peder Hansöns Kone alle af Kircherup

1740 Feb 21 Mads Jensen's little son of Kirkerup was baptized and called Hans.
Rasmus Pedersen's wife of Kirkerup carried the child.
Sponsors: Niels Villadsen, Niels Hansen, Peder Hansen, Hans Nielsen's wife and Peder Hansen's wife, all of Kirkerup.

You'd have to check the burial records to see if the Hans born in 1740 died before the one born in 1741.  It's possible to have 2 children with the same name, so not a guarantee that the first one died.

Do you use google translate?  It will read the Danish words to you if you click the Listen button below the text.  You will hear that Mads sounds like Mas.

I am using Kirkeåret med kirkedage to translate religious dates:

Hope that helps some.

Hi Lisa.  Thank you for such a thorough response. I didn't realize that Mas and Mads were interchangeable in Danish.  Makes sense but it's the first time I've come across this so I wasn't sure if Mas could be the father's name.  It also seems that maybe the minister was Swedish so using different spelling including -son instead of -sen.

As I should have done originally, Hans the son of Mas Jenson/Mads Jensen did die a few weeks after birth.  https://www.sa.dk/ao-soegesider/da/billedviser?bsid=152775#152775,25439487  It appears that he also lost a daughter earlier.

I usually use https://www.familysearch.org/en/wiki/Category:Danish_Feast_Day_Calendar for calendar but will take a look at your link.

Thanks for your great help.

There was no standardized spelling back then, so a writer could spell as he wished.  You don't know how your ancestor spelled his/her name until you find his/her signature, in probate or groomsmen records for example.
