I am researching a branch of the family that emigrated from Denmark to the USA in 1880.  I have located the death record of Peder Andersen? Moller in the church records for the community of West Denmark in Wisconsin.  It looks to be the best record of where he was born, but I am having trouble reading/translating it.  It is fairly long, but I would love to get a good translation of the entire record.  So if some is willing to try, it is at:

Thanks for any help,

My account don't have access to the document, but you can send a copy to my mail address. I'm related to Peder Møllers wife, becaus we have common ancestors in the Boesen line. Her great grand parents Rasmus Boesen and Anna Povlsdatter are also my ancestors.

I know from danish sources, that Peder should be born in Aalborg county but I have not been able to find him there. But a new search tonight on Familysearch gave the following result:

I just found that entry based on the document I am referencing and wondered if that could be him.  Good to know that family information indicates Aalborg county.

My father was born in West Denmark/Luck, Wisconsin in 1911. Looking into Peder's children, Aage moved to Solvang, California like my father. Aage was a reverend in this area and I think my parents may have known him.

Let me know if you can now access the document,

Hans, tusind tak!

That is exactly what I was hoping for!

In addition to Aage and the Solvang connection, his daughter Dagmar eventually became the second wife of my uncle Gottfred.  Sometimes it seems like a small world.
