Hello,

My Lambert Franck Madsen Bach was apparently born 17 Jan 1808 Låstrup, Rinds, Viborg, Denmark and baptised 11 Mar 1808.  He was also, apparently, illegitimate.  His parents, Mads Jørgensen Bach and Anna Birgithe Lambertsdatter Winther, married at some point but I could not locate a record.

In theory, he should be on this page but I cannot see him: https://www.sa.dk/ao-soegesider/da/billedviser?bsid=168979#168979,28375374

I thought I would possibly find him in Gedsted, Rinds, Viborg, Denmark, since this was where his mother was from, but I had no luck there either.

He married Anna Kathrine Jensdatter 13 May 1835 in Låstrup, Rinds, Viborg, Denmark here: https://www.sa.dk/ao-soegesider/da/billedviser?bsid=362184#362184,70561025

He died 26 Jul 1892 in Låstrup, Rinds, Viborg, Denmark here: https://www.sa.dk/ao-soegesider/da/billedviser?bsid=166474#166474,27956494

Any ideas?  I had no trouble finding the birth records for all of his siblings.

Thank you so much Hans!  I must have been looking at the wrong parish records?

Do you know if it actually says in his death record that he was illegitimate?  I thought I read Oakt but now that I look at it again is looks like is says "ogte?"

Lisa Petersen

Nothing about being illegitimate.  It says

...ægteviet 1 Gang 13 Maj 1835 med Pige Ane Katrine Jensdatter...
...married first on 13 May 1835 to unmarried Ane Katrine Jensdatter...

There's a nice story (in Danish) about the family by a descendant, born in 1841:

That is so cool!  I wonder if it is his son, Erik Peder Lambertsen Bach born 25 Sep 1841 in Låstrup.

Hans Chr. Baagøe

The death record tells, that Lambert was married twice. First marriage was with the girl Ane Kathrine Jensdatter, who died Dec. 3rd. 1871. 2. marriage was with the widow Kirsten Jensdatter, a sister to the first wife:

Kirsten has been married to dairy manager Anders Peter Hansen on Kollerupgaard in Hadbjerg parish.

Death record for Anders Peter Hansen, no. 3 in 1870:

It was Erik Peder, born in 1841, who wrote the story in 1911.

Thanks so much Hans.  I did not realise that the two wives were sisters.
