I have located the Birth entry for Christian Pedersen: Indexed data: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:HKN1-S8ZM?from=lynx1UIV8&treeref=MSJG-7P7

Original entry:
https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3QS7-9943-QCQC?i=363&wc=M5VH-4WP%3A357517701%2C358054301%2C358054302%2C358054303&cc=2078555   1720-1797 Låsby, Gjern, Skanderborg img 364 pg 358b right page 1st entry

My Transcription is:

Year: 1778
No: 1st entry right hand page
Dom 7 Sima p Trinit {2 Aug 1778} , bar til Daaben Peder Christiansen Barn af Laasbye, kaldet CHRISTIAN. baarnet af Marie Christiansdatter fra Tisls-Faddere Jens Andersen, Peder Jensen, Peder Olesen, Maren Pedersdatter og Ann Catrine Sørensdatter

Although the Indexed data indicates a Death Date of May 1779, I find not mention if it in the original Birth/Christening entry. Unless I am missing it.

I searched the 1779 period I believe this may be his Death entry, 1720-1797 Låsby, Gjern, Skanderborg img 366 pg 360b right page 4th entry down:

https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3QS7-9943-QCS9?i=365&wc=M5VH-4WP%3A357517701%2C358054301%2C358054302%2C358054303&cc=2078555

My attempt at a transcription is: Dom ?vasimode geneti; blev Confirmerede i Laasby Kirke then a list of names. I am wondering if one of them is the son of Peder Christiansen.

I am not sure as to whether this is a Death entry or Confirmation.

If it is a confirmation or if this is not referring to the little son of Peder Christiansen then this is not the entry I am seeking.

Could someone ta a look at this and correct my Transcriptions and verify or discredit the validity of my assumption that it is his Death entry.

Thank you---

Thank you Ole...That clears that up.

Claude Hansen was in the Center on Tuesday, helped him get a copy of a certificate that was blurred in one database. I was able to take him to another site and get him a printed copy.

Again, thanks....Lynn

Hi Lynn
I had a mail from Claude a couple of weeks ago after a very long period of silence.
So it was good to hear from him !!

His wife was sick for some time so he could not leave her for any period of time and he was handling her personal needs as well as his own. She seems to be better now.
