In the birth record for Ole Jørgensen (25 Nov 1818) https://www.sa.dk/ao-soegesider/da/billedviser?epid=21883129#423944,78070324, I believe it indicates that he was the illegitimate son of Dorthe Poulsdatter and Jørgen Jensen.  I'd appreciate if someone could transcribe/translate the entry, particularly the added notations at the bottom.

I believe his confirmation record is at (#17): https://www.sa.dk/ao-soegesider/da/billedviser?epid=21883129#428473,78521403
I am trying to understand the relationship to Peter Carlsen.

Thanks for any help,
Art

Correct, the marriage date was 28 Jan. 1820 - not 20 Jan. 1820, as I wrote earlier.

Thanks Inger and Ole!

So a little over a year after Ole Jørgensen was born Dorthe Poulsdatter married Peter Carlsen.  They had a son Hans Peter Petersen in 1825.  When Ole was confirmed in 1833, Peter Carlsen was listed as step-father.  By 1840, the censuses list Dorthe Poulsdatter as a widow, implying that Peter Carlsen died between 1825 and 1840, but I have been unable to find a suitable death record.  By 1844 Ole Jørgensen had moved to Ronnebaek parish where he lived until emigrating to the US in 1874.  There is a death record for a Dorthe Poulsdatter on 3 Apr 1857 in Ronnebaek parish that mostly fits.
