Johanes Peter Jorgensen

This gentleman was born 14 Sep 1875, Kerteminde, Odense. He appears on the 1901 UK census, occupation commander ships, living in Hull with my wife's grandfather Rasmus Hans Peter Olsen and his parents Jens Peter and Cathrine Veline Dorhtea Olsen. He marries Hanna Marie Pederson (b23 Nov 1882, Stavanger, Norway) in Hull on 23 Jan 1906 and four months later their son Rasmus Leonhard J Jorgensen is born on 10 May 1906. There must have been a connection between the families as Jens Peter Olsen was a sailor. Can anybody help?

I am aware there are Naval Lists but is there in existence any records or lists of people who were working in the docks i.e fishermen etc?
