The family is transcribed in 1860.  The wife's name is transcribed as Jørgensdatter in 1850 as well.

Do you have Gunde with his parents in ddd transcription of the 1845 census?

The DDD-transcriptions are not always correct. The original census document from 1860 found in arkivalieronline.dk has the wife's name as Marie Dorthea Jeppesen. The parish register Ribe, Vester Horne, Janderup 1813-1823 entry 15 number 4 says that she is baptized Marie Dorthee Jeppesdatter in 1817.

I don't have Gunde with his family in 1845 could you please let me know which census Thanks.

This is the info for Maries birth. Marie was born 12th April 1817 and baptized the same day in Janderup Church. Marie was the daughter of Husmand (smallholder) Jeppe MADSEN and Susanne CHRISTENSDATTER of Kerup. I use in my records whatever the translation is either Jeppesdatter or Jeppesen according to the record as I am doing my history in book format and it is explained in the text.

You both might be able to help with my next problem I cant find my great grand father Mads on the 1870 census.

In 1869 their is this entry.  Mads Gundesen of Skjedsbol, Lunde parish was confirmed on the 4th April 1869. The first Sunday after  Easter. Parents, retired smallholder Gunde JØRGENSEN and his wife Marie Dorthea JEPPESDATTER in Allerslev, now living on Varde Mark, in the home of Søren NIELSEN in Skjedsbol. (leaving open whether he is renting or is supported there at NIELSEN's house)

Mads was born in Allerslev in Ovtrup parish 24 March 1855.  'Emergency' baptism 29th of that month.  Baptism noted in the church 20th May of the same year. 

Judged very good (mg, meget god) in knowledge and deportment.

Vaccinated 17th August 1865 Dr GYNTELBERG.

1860 – 1877 Lunde, Vester Horne opslag 58 1869 entry 7.

In 1872 there is this entry. On the 3rd June 1872 Mads GUNDESEN, born 24th March 1854 (actually 1855) Smedelærling (apprentice blacksmith), left Ovtrup to go to Ribe.

1860-1877 Janderup, Vester Horne, Ribe ops 52 entry 18 1872

I have looked in Ovtrup, Lunde, Janderup, Varde and cant find him am I missing a clue in the above records.
