Need help finding the death for Niels Hansen

Hello,

My Niels Hansen was born 23 Sep 1804 in Homå, Sønder Dyrs, Randers, Denmark to Hans Nielsen Bierre and Kirsten Christensdatter Mortens.

He married on 28 May 1840 in Ålsø, Sønder Dyrs, Randers, Denmark to Kirsten Thomasdatter Hjort.

I find the couple with their children in the 1845, 1850, 1860 and 1870 Denmark Census living in Svapkær, Rimsø, Djurs Nørre, Randers, Denmark.

Kirsten Thomasdatter Hjort dies 15 Feb 1875 in Svapkær, Rimsø, Djurs Nørre, Randers, Denmark.

According to her death record it appears her husband is still alive.

I do not find Niels Hansen in the 1880 in Rimsø, Djurs Nørre, Randers, Denmark so I assumed he must have died between 1875 and 1880 but I could not find a death record for him in Rimsø so I am not sure where to look.

Any help is appreciated.

You should look at the places where his children are living.
He died in Voer, Rougsø, Randers 22. Apr 1877 - living at his son-in-law Kromand[owner of an inn] Jespersen. Hansine's husbond

This site also contens your family. But he has the wrong place for Niels' dead-he writes Holme sogn, in Dråby But you can look at his family tree. Meier Larsson 's family  by Steen Meier
