Seeking Death information on Great Grandparents

I am seeking the Death information on my Great Grandparents.


Great Grandfather:
He was Jens Peter Laursen born 21 Mar 1859 in Sjelle, Framslev, Aarhus

I have him in the Censuses for 1860, 1870, 1880, 1890, 1906, 1911, 1916, and 1925.
I have that his Confirmation was on 20 Apr 1873 in Sjelle and that he arrived in Framslev in 1874.
In 1882 he had an affair with my Great Grandmother Anna Dorthea Hansen resulting in my Grandmother Marie Jensine Hansen born 25 Jan 1883 in Aarhus Domsogn, Hasle, Aarhus. Jens is indentified as the 'alleged father of the child'

He subsequently married Karen Sørensen Fogsgaard 10 May 1898 in Aarhus Vor Frue Kirken and I have located 2 of their children.

But, I have not been able to locate a Death event for him.

She was Anna Dorthea Hansen born 11 Sep 1861 in Vor Frue, Hasle, Aarhus

I have her Confirmation occurring on 3 Oct 1875 in Aarhus Vor Frue.
I have located her in the Censuses for 1880 and 1901
In 1882 she had an affair with Jens Peter Laursen. She is identified as a single woman giving birth to my grandmother Marie Jensine Hansen and the alleged father is Jens Peter Laursen.
The 1901 Census indicates she and Marie were living at Møllestein 35 in Aarhus.
After that, I can find no other information including her Death event.

Any assistance as to where I might turn to find any other information including their death information would be greatly appreciated.

Year of birth for her is not correct in the censuses! There is no Anna Dortea Hansen born in september 1862!

Are you sure that this is the correct Anna Dorthea Hansen? The reason that I am asking is that I have Marie Jensine Hansen, the illegitimate child as a 14 year old girl going through Confirmation on 4 Apr 1897 in Vor Frue, Hasle, Aarhus image 67 page 77 entry 23

This Confirmation entry indicates Marie Jensine was living with her mother Anna Dorthea Hansen at Møllesti 35 in Aarhus. This would seem to conflict with the Marriage of Anna Dorthea and Rasmus Peter Larsen on 2 Sep 1888 some 9 years earlier in København.

Any insight?

Please have a look at the death record for Anna/Ane Dorhea Larsen, née Hansen. It has her correct birth place and date.

Maybe Marie Jensine was not living with her mother at the time of her confirmation 1897?

I am shure, that I have found the correct person. I have checked the birth records for more Anna Dorthe Hansen in September 1861 and in 1862. The death record for the wife of Rasmus Peter Larsen shows that she was born September 11th. 1861 in Frue sogn. I know there can be errors in the death records about place and date of birth.

Most of the censuses shows that Anna Dorthe was born September 11th. 1862 in Aarhus. I found that the error was in too many censuses, that is why I made a double check for more children with the same name. Why should date, month and place match your ancestor in each record, if it is not the same person, even though the year does not match.

She was living together with her foster parents.

In my own research, I have seen confirmation records, where the names of both parents was written, and nothing about they was dead several years before.

Møllesti 35 could be where Anna Dorthea was born. Her birth record shows she is born on Mølleporten, which could be an old name for that house. It could also be the same as Grønnegade 9, because a part of Møllestien was renamed to Grønnegade.

Anna Dortheas parents died too early to give a usefull information in the probate about her.

The police records from Copenhagen also shows the year of birth for Anne Dorthea to be in 1862:

I think I have straightened the Confirmation information and Marriage information out in my own mind.
