In researching our family tree here... on Ellen Margrethe Nielsen (Neilsdatter), it appears her 3 children had different fathers

I have been able to get in contact with a decenant in from Ellen's elderst daughter Frederikke Vilhelmine Hansen. She is going to email me hopefully new information in the new year.

My wife decends from Andreas Christian Andresen. So we have been able to gather oinline and now offline transcripts on him and his travels.

And the most recent information is on the youngset of Ellen's children, Vilhelmine Nielsen in which I hope can be confirmed as either correct or incorrect.

Vilhelmine Nielsen is recorded here in a Census at age 2 with mother Ellen Margrethe Nielsen and brother Andreas Christian Andresen.

I'm wondering if the below Vilhelmine Johanne Frederikke Nielsen is the same as the Vilhelmine Nielsen mentioned in the above Census. Vilhelmine's birth year is the almost the same and the mothers name Ellen Margrethe Nielsen is the same. The other piece of information that has brought me to this assumption is a Johan Frauek Rose in the above Census sounds like the father, but with the wrong spelling.

The documnets below are the birth, christening and confirmation of Vilhelmine Johanne Frederikke Nielsen with Johan Frederik Rosen listed as the father and the name Ellen Margrethe Nielsen as mother.

I was hoping to find a document that confirms Ellen Margrethe Nielsen age/birth date with child Vilhelmine Johanne Frederikke Nielsen also listed.
I tried Royal Birth and Care but was confused on where to look.


Already done reseach on Ellen Margrethe Nielsen here which confrims Ellens birth date is 28 August 1832.

Vilhelmine Johanne Frederikke Nielsen and Vilhelmine Nielsen is the same person.
The father of Vilhelmine is journeyman shoemaker (Skomagersvend) Johan Frederik Rosen.

At the census Feb.1,1870 spelled Johan Frederik Rose - age 26 - born in København
- ages in censuses are far from totally reliable

My suspicion is, that he is named after his mother, born out of wetlock - like his siblings Thorvald and Wilhelmine, see below.
His mothers name could be Anne Frederikke Rose, born abt. 1809 in Kbh.
Both Anne and Frederikke can be spelled in several different ways.

This is remarkable news!

And it looks like the 1970 Census has been corrected since last night. The spelling now to Johan Frederik Rose makes sense.

This opens up new leads on the mother Ellen Margrethe Niesen and now daughter Vilhelmine Johanne Frederikke Nielsen and also Johan Frederik Rose .

Sinse Ellen Margrethe Niesen had her 3 children (likely all out of wedlock) it has been a mystery to what happened after to Ellen, after her son Andreas Christian Andresen emgrated to New Zealand.

Unfortunately I only know English.

I can recognise names and key information when sighting the actual Danish documents, but become lost searching for the documents on sa.dk.
I've been fortunate with other sights like danishfamilysearch and familysearch because I understand the navigation.

Although sa.dk.com appears to have much more to offer.
Like how to search the royal birth documents for Vilhelmine Johanne Frederikke Nielsen with hopefully Ellen Margrethe Niesen's name

I managed to find Vilhelmine's death record that is scanned, but not transcribed yet.

All I was hoping, is help with translation from Danish to English.
