I need to know locations written in two different columns.  (not where the attendees were from).  Rasmus is the couples first child and I am hoping to get a clue to the location of their marriage.  Thanks, Claude  (it appears I will never run out of questions!!!)

I looked at the Husby marriages and also those in Hjerm and couldn't find them.  The next chlild I know of was born in 1900 in Seem parish just below the city of Ribe.  Any suggestions where I should look?  Claude

Gosh Thanks, Ellen:  I had viewed that census; however had missed the marriage year and the number of children alive and number dead.  I know six of those children...and apparently have missed six somewhere.  John and Sidsel moved around so much and seemed to never have two children born in the same parish.  I sent another request today - trying to see if anybody can figure out where Kristian was born.
Thanks again for all of your help!  claude

Karl Senius Petersen Johnsen b. Maj 31st 1908 Holstebro, Ringkjøbing

There would often be a child every 2nd year.
You have a child in 1896, 1900, 1902, 1908, 1914
There might be a child in 1894 (?), 1898, 1904, 1906, 1910, 1912, 1916

Gosh Ellen, you have been doing a lot of work.  I did have Carolyn Andrea (in fact, she is the first child I knew of) and I also have Andeers Hansen Johnsen born 18 Mar 1904 in Lintrup, Haderslev.  What an interesting family to trace.  John Nissen Johnsen and his parents came to the U.S. in 1873 with his parents and two uncles...one of those uncles Niel Hansen was my great grandfather.  There were three Hansen siblings all together on the same ship.  I traced the two brothers and all of their offspring here in the U.S.  On the ship, John Nissen had an older brother, age 2, named Anton.  I spent a couple years trying to find the family of Rasmus Nissen Johnsen and his wife Carolyn Andrea Hansen and their two children Anton and John Nissen to no avail.  I accidentally found two daughters Carolyn Amalie and Bodel Marie born back in Dostrup (the primary parish of the Anders Hansen family who were Carolyn's parents.).  I was shocked...they had landed in New York almost the middle of 1873 and were back in Denmark for daughters born in 1875 and 1877.  I finally found the family in Bedsted parish Aabenraa when the father Rasmus Nissen Johnsen died around 1881.  In the obituary there is no mention of Anton.  In 1883 the mother married a Pehr Pehrsen... and then I lose the family for another long time.  I recently found them and they don't seem to stay in the same area for long periods.... so it is difficult!  (And I'm sure you didn't need to know all this; however, I did want to let you know why I keep  searching!  Thanks again, Claude
