I am interested in information on Ane Arvesen and her family (about the middle of the page).

https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3Q9M-CS21-5SSW-Q?i=478&cc=2778653

1. What is the first column.  At the top of the page is the building number.  Do the words in this column refer to a floor they lived on or something like that?

2.  What is the second to last column?  Most of the entries have Dito but I can't tell what the initial word is.

3.  Finally what is in the last column?

Thank you,

Dito is birthplace - parish - sogn

1. row is like the farms name, street name - like adresses

last row is what the person is doing for a living like servant, farmer etc.

Thank you, Bente.

In the first column, every one listed resides at Pedermadsensgang 303.  My understanding is this was a slum area of Copenhagen.  My assumption is that the rest of the text indicates where in the building they resided.  For the other entries it looks like 3rd "something - floor would seem logical but I can't figure out what word that is" then 2nd, then 1st.  Her families is another word entirely.  Were there basements or some other annex to the house?

In the last column, I can't make out the profession and the index you referenced says it is unreadable.  Just wondering if anyone else could make it out.

Thanks,

Ric

Hello

The first four families live on the "bagsal" - that means 2nd, 3rd etc. floors in a back building.

The Arvesen family lives at "Qvisten"=the "kvist" - the top floor/the attic.
