Niels Vandel factor in Isafjord Iceland 1796-1804

I am looking for Niels Vandel [Wandel/Vandell], born abt 1764/66 in Denmark.

He works in Iceland as a factor 1796-1804, gets married 3. nóv 1796 to Þorgerður Illugadóttir [Thorgerda] then they leave and go to Denmark but what then ?

In 1787 census is a: MT1787: Niels Vandel, f.1766. Tjenestekarl Stolemagerdreng. What kind of job is that ?

        Stayed in Iceland had wife and children.
