Hi,

Could anyone help me with a Feast date?

On Foldby 1751-1790, opslag 116, in the first entry for the burial of Niels Andersen Kane (?) in 1764, I cannot find a feast date thgat resembles what is written (?Nick bege?). The last entry on the preceding page is for Dom. 9 post Trinit (19 august in 1764) and the following entry is for Dom. 10 post Trinit (26 August in 1764).

I don't understand what is written for the date and cannot find anything close on the Feast Date Calendar for 1764.

Many thanks for any help.

Rick

Hi

I read the first word a the location Ztenth and I think it means Søften.
"The date" is not a date but "Nock begr." and means one more funeral.
In other words I think he was burried Dom. 9 post Trin.

I would read 'Zeuft:', Søften, and Niels Andersen Kaae.

Hi

Ralph you ar probably right about Zeu as the beginning and perhaps also about the f but right now I would write Zeuth.

And Kaae is also right.
