I am looking for any information on the shipping movements, manifests etc on a ship called the Unita. It was built in 1872 by the Framnæs Mekaniske Værksted in Sandefjord, Norway. The owners were P. A. Grøn, M. Grøn, Ebbesen and others (Green). It was sold and eventually made it's way during WW2 as a Norwegian naval ship. I am looking for information on the ships movements between 1872 and especially 1883. Can anyone point me to somewhere I can get information from. My Danish GG Grandfather was listed as a "shell back" and worked on this boats which brought him to Australia. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated
Cheers karen
