Hello-
Attached is my record's military levy record taken in 1812 from Brønshøj, København.
I can read the following:
Hans Christian, son of Niels Sørensen born in Utterslev. I can see he went to Holbæk but I cannot read anything else. Does it list where in Holbæk he went to?
Thank you!

Kystmill. = Coast militia is mentioned in a few records. He was either found suitable for service or served there.

Thank you John! This proves this is my ancestor.
Question, can you help me trace his father? He last shows up in the 1799 levy roll for Brønshøj, København but I can't make out where he went to next listing in 1803. Niels Sørensen, son of Søren Svendsen.
Thank you!

Hi Casey,
He was dismissed in 1803. That's why you cannot find him.

Thank you!
I was able to find Niels Sørensen and his wife Karen Hansdatter's deaths because they were listed as being in Aarby...never would have found them if it wasn't for Hans Christian's record there.
Thank you!!
