Can someone please transcribe and translate the words in the 'Remarks' column for the death of Jorgen Poulsen?
His death record is in the parish of Rudkøbing, 1858 - 1892, opslag 102, 1873, Record # 10.
I have translated the rest of the death record as follows:
Date of death: 9 August 1873
Date of burial: 15 August
Name: Jorgen Poulsen
Occupation: Baadfører (sea man)
Age: 77
Jevnførelses Register: 201-222
Remarks? ____
And please let me know if I have made a mistake in my translation above.
Thanks so much.

Hi Hansine,
I would translate Baadfører as 'boatman'.
Remark: eget Gravsted (own burial place).
Best regards,
Inger T.

Would this have been unusual to be buried in a place other than the local church cemetery?
-
Hi again,
I interprete the record as follows: He (or his family) had acquired a burial place of their own at the local cemetery.
The remark for most people is alm. Række (almindelig Række). I'm not quite sure of the meaning of this, but it's a description of where the persons were buried in the cemetery.

Can someone please help me to find the birth record for Jorgen Poulsen? He was born in about 1797 in Rudkøbing.
There is a marriage record for Jorgen Poulsen and Karen Handatter (but I do not think it mentions their parents) at:
