His father was Soren Michelsen 1767- 13 Aug 1828, Farup.
Is Albygaard the name of the area or the name of the farm??

The -gaard in Aalbygaard means "farm". The modern Danish spelling would be "gård". Also, the name of the farm is now written Ålbygård. So, aa = å.
