I had some help some time ago with Jorgen Pederson Wraamand family and it took us back a couple of generations... But there are still questions about the marriages of Ane and Rasmus.. and his death with him being so young... and then the 1st. wife of Johan Rasmussen.... I'm wondering if she died or if they divorced.... These may be strange questions but ... whan they had a family where their sisters were also their own cousins... somebody needs to ask

The marriage of Rasmus Jensen of Karlebye (I read his age as age 23 but he should be older?) and Ane Johanna Jørgensen of Utterslev (age 20) is recorded in the 1854-1879 Utterslev, Lolland Nørre, Maribo (ops 145) churchbook.
The marriage took place on Jan 5, 1873. The sponsors (or witnesses) were the fathers Jørgen Pedersen of Utterslev and Jens Rasmussen of Nordlunde.
By the way, Rasmus Jensen was born Jan 7, 1845 in Fejø (ops 71). His parents are listed as Jens Rasmussen Tambour and Ane Jensen.
Ane Johanne Jørgensen was born Jun 24, 1852 in Utterslev. She was christened in August but I can't read the exact date. Her parents are listed as Jørgen Pedersen and Gjertrud Nielsdatter.
You can find the image of her birth record under 1823-1853 Utterslev, Lolland Nørre, Maribo (ops 154, the image is two pages wide and her record is on the top of the right hand page).
Judging from the census records, she had an older brother Peder (born approx 1850), and 3 younger siblings Mariane (approx 1858), Christian Frederik (approx 1861) and Kirstine Karoline (approx 1866).
As far as I can tell, in both the census and the churchbooks entries, the family was known as Jørgensen.
I would like to follow this, it is my Due family ;D

The Jens Rasmussen in Nordlunde, at their wedding 1873, couldn´t be Rasmus father, he died 1867 in Horslunde, and it couldn´t be his grandfather, he died 1861 in Stokkemarke.

Thank You so much for your help.. I found some Genealogy papers in about the year 2000 that were given to my mother in the 1960's.. They were NOT complete but thru the info. on them I was able do a begin my search.. I found a distant cousin that was able to add many more pages to the set of genealogy papers.. With that and My Grandparents Bible , I began to piece things together... with alot of help from found cousins I have been inching along.. but its a long journey...So please know how very thankful I am for your help

This US census data seems to be the family in 1900. It says that Anna was born in Jun 1852 (which agrees with the birth record above) and that she was the mother of 7 children, 5 of which were still living.

Julius Frederik Jensen was born Oct 26, 1872 in Utterslev. He was born out of wedlock but his parents Rasmus Jensen and Anna Johanne Jørgensen had married in time for his christening.
Marie Vilhemine Jensen was born Jan 3, 1877 in Utterslev. She was christened May 21, 1877
Rasmus Jensen died on July 10, 1879 in Utterslev. If I read his death record correctly, it says he was born on Sept 10, 1849 in Nordlunde. There is a birth of a Rasmus Jensen recorded on that date. It lists his parents are Jens Rasmussen Snedker and Marie? Rasmussdatter.

I belive in the US family history from Sandi. Written and told from parents to their children, then there must be some truth in it. They knew those people in their own family.
This will be interesting to follow as my grandfather Louis and his sister Dagmar were both born in Brooklyn, Wisconsin which is about 20 miles from Stoughton, Wisconsin where Sandi's family was shown to have immigrated too. Im guessing that alot of Danish people moved to where other Dane's lived. Some of my photos of Louis and Dagmar were taken in Evansville, Wisconsin, again about 20 miles from Brooklyn. :)

Ane Jorgensen Wraamand was never married to Rasmus Jensen, born 1845 at Fejoe.
She was only married to Rasmus Jensen (1849) from Nordlunde.
I have found Rasmus Jensen (Fejoe) He married in Koebelev 16. nov. 1872 (op 1., no. 13)
I am sure, as his vaccination date 15. may 1845 by Bang at Fejoe is what is written at his confirmation 17. apr. 1859 in Horslunde.

Johan Rasmussens father = Rasmus Jensen, his 2.nd wife were married to Rasmus Jensen(Nordlunde), and Johans halfbrother were Rasmus Jensen (Fejoe)
Confusing is one way to put it... It has been a very long standing family joke that Johan Rasmussens and Ane Jorgensen children were cousins and step sibblings as well.... This was written by the children themselves... And now nearly everyone that that I could ask about this is dead.... My brother has the old family bible..I will have to have him take pictures of whats written in it and post my findings..
AND... a 3rd. child for John Rasmussen ??? Christian Anton Rasmussen 2 Feb. , 1878 Utterslev... NEVER heard of him.. Guess he stayed in Denmark with his mother.. Gee. these dates sure are closing in on the time Johan left for America... wondering if he even divorced his wife before leaving..
Christian Anton Rasmussen died 26. dec. 1880 in Utterslev.
Johan was emigrated at that date.

This is John Rasmussens' daughter Jenesena Antonia Rasmussen and her husband.........1910 ,Rock Co.Town of Magnolia, Wisconsin census states that Hans Peter came to U.S. in 1883. He was born in Nov. of 1861, in Denmark.. His wife Jensenia A. Rasmussen was born ,Denmark November of 1865 and came to U.S. in 1882..
They had these children: Edna Georgiana born in Wisconsin in 1887.... Albert Theodor born in Wisconsin 1888.... Arthur Born in Wisconsin 1890..... and... Leslie (he's a guy) born in Wisconsin in 1894... ONLY ONE son had children , Albert , who married Helen Logan, who was born in Germany... Albert and Helen had 3 children... Georgiana born 1901 in Iowa, married James Slayden, notes state they had 5 children...... Robert (nothing on him except that he had 4 children) ....and Merle who I know NOTHING about except that the notes say had 3 children

Sandi is my second great aunt's husband's first cousin twice removed.
I can help shed some light on the Wolff family if you all need it. I believe I met Bjarne on MyHeritage, so we are slightly acquainted.
Fritz Wilheim Wolff was born on November 30th, 1868 in Nakskov, on the island of Lolland, in Denmark to John/Johann Wolff and Dorothea Anna Jensen. On August 7th, 1897, he married my great great grandaunt, Jennie Mason, born Jennie Rasmussen. Together, they had six kids: Ruth Marie Wolff, Earl Mason Wolff, Rachel Doris Wolff, Mabel Caroline Wolff, Braden Edward Wolff, and George Edwin Wolff.
All of Fritz and Jennie's children are now deceased, so listing their names on here should be acceptable. Ruth Marie was born on June 19th, 1898 in Brooklyn, Green, Wisconsin, USA. She ended up marrying a man by the name of Kennard K Roberts in 1917. Together, they had two children, both of whom I believe are still living. Earl Mason was born on December 21st, 1899 in Brooklyn, Green, Wisconsin, USA. He later married a girl named Grace. Not sure of the last name quite yet. Together, they had three kids.
Now, here comes my favorite part of the Wolff family tree. Rachel Doris was born on February 5th, 1902 in Brooklyn, Green, Wisconsin, USA. She lived with her widowed mother and three younger siblings in the 1920 U.S. Census in Union, Rock, Wisconsin, USA. On June 16th, 1924, she married William S Riley at the Saint Paul's Catholic Church in Evansville, Rock, Wisconsin, USA. She ended up giving birth to four children, two of which are now deceased (William R Riley and Doris Riley). The youngest daughter ended up marrying Oscar Jerald "Bo" Quaerna, who ended up passing away in 2001. Together they had four kids. One of the children ended up getting married and had two children of his own with his wife. His daughter would be my fourth cousin. Funny enough, I didn't even know that I was related to her until I did this extensive research in the Wolff family, and I was very surprised when I found out I was related to her, for she was actually the co-valedictorian of my class! Besides the Quaernas, the other surnames to branch off from the Riley/Wolff tree would be Fredricks, Riley of course, and DeWitt. Message me for more information on these descendants!
Mabel Caroline was born on August 24th, 1904 in Janesville, Rock, Wisconsin, USA. She ended up marrying Walter H Schiefelbein in 1924. Together, they had at least two kids.
Braden Edward was born on August 28th, 1906 in Brooklyn, Green, Wisconsin, USA. He ended up marrying a Jerdis R. Not sure of her last name, but he had one child with her. Before that marriage, he was married to a woman by the name of Molle. Again, not sure of the last name, but they had two kids.
Finally, George Edwin was born on April 19th, 1908 in Brooklyn, Green, Wisconsin, USA. He ended up marrying a woman named Alice D Gilbertson. Together, they had at least one child.

Funny thing about his "Mason Family Tree" He messaged me some time ago about a "family connection" well I found it right away with Dorothea Ane Jensen whos' son Fritz Wolff married Jenny Mason..This is My Mothers side of the family. But somehow we stayed alittle off track til I realized he was talking of the connection between my Fathers side of the family.. My Father had a Great Uncle Henery Jensen (My Dads Grandmother , Anna Jensen Olsons brother) well Henerys daughter , Maria Christine Jensen (born Jan. 1876 in Denmark) married Marcelius L. Mason who was born 1870 in Denmark... They married in Wisconsin.. Marcelius was the son of Rasmus Christian Mason and Caroline Kirstine Christiansdatter...
So , Jacobs tree and mine have crossed at least twice..

While looking for Adelhard (T) Jensen in Illinois, I found Adalhard and Anders both came to America... Ellis Island records have them as brothers and arriving May 17th. , 1905.

Hello! I am one of Rachel Wolff Riley's granddaughters! Great granddaughter of Jennie Mason :)
My mother, Sharon Ann Riley Quaerna was the fourth child of Rachel Doris Wolff Riley and William S. Riley. She is 75 years old now, and the only remaining child of Rachel "Rae" and William Riley. The oldest child, Patricia Mary Riley Fredricks passed away February 13th, 2016. She joined her brother William and sister Doris who are also deceased. To clarify, my mother Sharon, had 3 children with Oscar Jerald "Bo" Quaerna. I am the oldest, Carrie Ann, then Jerald Oscar, then Joseph Thomas. My parents did divorce, and each had one other child from their second marriages, to make "4" each ;)
Rachel lived to be 102 years old! Passing away in 2004. Wow!
On my father's side, his mother's maiden name is Hess, who came from Norway and settled in the Rock County WI area as well, same as the Wolffs! In the very tiny town are know as Magnolia, very near the Evansville/Brooklyn area where my grandmother Rae grew up. Both of my grandmothers ended up spending the majority and remaining years of their lives in Janesville WI.
I had never met Great-grandma Jennie. I do know that Grandma Riley did stay close with her siblings, and my mother with her cousins, but most are deceased now.
