Thank you Ralph. In the 1912 confirmation record for Gustava in Solbjerg, Sokkelund, København, opslag 199 nr 9, it gives the father as Carl Johan Edholm and the unmarried Marie Kirstine Andersen. I think that this indicates that Carl Johan was running around on his wife.
