I was doing some research in Danish FamilySearch in the Samsø Herred and found some records that are somewhat difficult to transcribe.
I thought I would look them up in AO and FamilySearch and neither of these sites have the records for Samsø. I especially wanted to look at them in FamilySearch in that FS has the capability to change the Brightness and Contrast.
Does anyone know why they are not available?
FamilySearch tells me it may be because Danish Staten Arkive may not have authorized them to have the records. That seems a little strange.
Does any know where this set of records might be available other than Danish FamilySearch?
Again they are the records for Samsø Herred, Holbæk Amt.

Could you be more specific about the records you've found on Danish FamilySearch and maybe a link to one of the records? Church books are usually found under the parish, not the herred. I believe the reason I could not find them in AO nor FamilySerch is that Danish FamilySearch which I was using as my initial source has them associated with the WRONG Amt.
Danish FamilySearch has Besser and all of its Parishes associated with Samsø in Holbæk Amt. In reality Besser and its Parishes are associated with Samsø Herred in Skanderborg Amt
So, when I looked for them in AO and FS in Holbæk Amt naturally they were not there.
