Hello,
I recently discovered my 3x great grandmother, Johanne Marie Katrine Larsen (b 4 AUG 1865), had yet another child out of wedlock that I did not previously know about. As I was looking through the 1890 census i noticed a nameless newborn child under her name that I didn't initially think could have been hers. The entries are 38 and 39 here:
https://www.sa.dk/ao-soegesider/en/billedviser?bsid=59160#59160,12169895
So, cross-referencing with the church books I discovered that indeed it is her child and that it was eventually given the name Johan Kristensen, son of her and Kristen Kristensen. Record number 2 in 1890 here:
https://www.sa.dk/ao-soegesider/da/billedviser?bsid=356410#356410,70429891
I know that she did not keep this child because he doesn't appear with her in later censuses, and she eventually marries in 1897 and has other children. I also don't believe he died young in Vester Hassing.
I've searched everywhere for Johan and his father Kristen but no dice. Maybe someone else might have better luck? I would greatly appreciate any assistance. The only leads that I have are that maybe Kristen Kristensen's father is this Kristen Pedersen that is in the witnesses column? I can't read enough of it to be sure.
Many thanks.

Wow thank you!
Could I ask what it says in the 5th column? Does it say anything about the mother and father or why he's buried in a different place than where he died?
Hi
The record only tells the name of the mother, and the name of the husband of the couple, who raised him. The foster parents was Ole Christian Christensen and his wife in Horsens Enge. The mother was living in Aalborg i 1896.
There is no information about why he is burried in Nørre Sundby. His mother could be living in Nørre Sundby and having her work in Aalborg on a factory.

Thank you so much, these are some great clues! Christian Christiansen is one of the most difficult names to have to search for...so many varieties. And yes Johanne had two children before she was married and 3 or 4 with her husband, and one died very young. The foster children are her grandkids, her daughter also had some children before getting married and they lived with her. The daughter lived just down the road in Aalborg at the time.
Hi
I tried to find Kristian Kristiansen in the military records, but they showed at least 3 possible fathers!

The records with the registration of the real father is not online for the wanted area an period.
