I am just trying to figure out the occupation of Thomas Andersen in these two records.
His death, number 12, 11 November 1856. I can see it says married man, but I can't make out the next word. It starts with an "Ly..."?

That same thing appears to be in the birth record of his daughter, Ane Johanne, number 93, 4 October 1834.
