I need help finding the church record for the birth of Nis Christian Johnsen, b. 15 Feb 1914 in Abenra, Aabenraa, Denmark...according to my records. His parents are: John Nissen Johnsen and Sidsel Maria Jensen Klit. I've entered the data in my genealogy program and do not know where I got the information. I am having a difficult time reading this churchbook. Any help will be appreciated. The father, who is my grandfather's cousin seems to be in a different area when each of his children are born.... and I'm looking for the place he finally lived and died!! Claude

The name is correct
In Prussia (of which Aabenraa was a part 1864-1920) the civil registration is the only legal registration.
Only if the child is baptized this is mentioned in a church book
