I am trying to figure out a mystery regarding an ancestor of mine's father, Christian Albrecht Augustesen.
His mother was married in 1738 but I think perhaps I've misinterpreted the document. Who is the spouse she is marrying? Her marriage is the last one on this page, March 12 1738

I thought as much, she had 6 sons but they're all sons of "August" or "Augustavus", but I'm pretty sure this is the only marriage, and when she died her death she is listed as "faithful wife".
The birth notices for her 6 sons the notices are all quite vague and just say "August", who was an Obrist in Neuberg's Regiment before retiring from the army and working as a glover. It's all so confusing and I can't figure out who this "August" is, who is my ancestor.
