As usual, I can't read this entry well enough to know if it is the right one.  Entries are not numbered; however it is about 1/3 down the page and begins with a legible date... and the father's name is JENS something.... and later in the entry I see the word KAREN.  And, the record I have says she was born in 1770 or 1771 in HEM... and I think that is the location.  I'm also looking for her husband, Niels Christensen, who was born in 1770 o 1771 in the same place.  There are few births in 1770 and 1771 in this churchbook... and I should be able to find him...but, so far I haven't.  I'm just hoping I have located Karen!!!  Thanks to those who respond on Danish Forum... it is inspirational to me!  Claude
