Thanks Ric and Christian. I do know that if there is just one date given ... it would be the burial date ... unfortunately, I've been inconsistent in recording my records...sometimes I use both; but too often I say "death date" when it should be burial. An item of a tiny bit of interest is that my gggrandfather died while doing some construction work in the Dostrup Kirke... and of course his burial was also there. I should actually say, his burial entry in the churchbook was written in a manner that it could have been the church or the rectory. Thanks for the date! Claude
