That seems to call for an emendation. The writer must have ment:
Forældre,Tomes Pedersen og Hustru
Jens Jens Xtensens Hustru paa Engen bar det
Parents, Thomas Pedersen and wife
child Jens. Jens Christensens wife from the meadow presented the child at the font.
Mætte, the next one, has parents Laurs Pedersen og Hustru

But then there is written Christen Jens Hustru- not Jens Christensens hustru - Christen Jens wife and not Jens Christens wife- please look ince more
