Thanks Ole---Could the father's surname be Plougmand ?
I wondered about the same thing, as Maren Pedersdatter is widow i the 1787 census and the only one
'fitting' as her late husband is Christen Plougmand in Sønderhaae, who died in 1782.
MP's son Anders should have been born ca. 1772, but I could not find him.

2. Anders Christensen Plougm. 17 y.o. is confirmed in 1787 strongly indicates, that
Christen Plougmand is identical with Christen Thøgersen.

I have not been able to find a marriage record either but I have found birth records for 6 other children who have Christen Plougmand and Maren Pedersdatter as parents.
