Elna Kirstine Nielsen, in Løvenholt, was his wife. He was a trainer of racehorses, born in Bindslev Parish, District Hjørring. His father, Laurits Christian Jakobsen, was a tailor. His mothers name was Anna Constance Marie Christensen.
He was buried in Them churchyard.
