I am trying to find when and where Adser Christen Knudsen, b. 31. mars 1776 Rejsby-sogn, Tønder-Amt, Denmark. Dies?
He was a Kjöbmand in Reykjavík Iceland -1801-1807, then he moves to Ribe and is there 1811.http://nygaards-sedler.dk/viewpage.php?page_id=72&sort=e&ret=14&vis=2&nr=208073
He was married to Johanne Margrethe Hölter who probably dies in Ribe.

If I only could narrow down in which parish (sogn) he was living in then I could dig into the church books.
This child is probably relative but he is not born in Sneum-sogn :(

At the son's baptism in Norway, Adser Christensen Knudsen is recorded as Kiøbmand og borger from Riibe i Jydland:

So he should be in Borgerskabsprotokollen for Ribe, which is only available at the archives:

Not sure if that could help determine where he went from Ribe.
