They both had smallpox! They had to marry each other - I guess they were both disfigured by it.
That is very interesting.
The place name was very important. I had 2 potential fathers both of Syv, for Jens Andersen, both Anders Hansen with a son called Jens at a similar time. But the one had the same place name as the marriage record for Jens.
